Roger is the semi-retired Managing Partner and founder of Venture Investors LLC, the General Partner of five early stage venture capital funds with a primary focus on companies formed around university research. Venture Investors LLC is headquartered in the University Research Park, Madison, WI with a second office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has served on the board of directors, including chairman roles, for many portfolio companies.

Roger is on the board of directors and is president of the World Federation of Investor Corporations, as well as on the board of the UW-Whitewater Foundation. He also serves on the New York Stock Exchange Individual Investor Advisory Committee and on the board of the University of Wisconsin Biomedical Engineering Coulter Research Program. Roger was named Wisconsin Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001 and received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Roger has a Master of Public Administration, Urban Development from the Rockefeller School, State University of New York, Albany and a Bachelor of Education, Broad Field of Social Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
