“Running with the Bulls & the Bears!”
Have you ever had the urge to attend a BetterInvesting National Convention (such as BINC 2008)? This year might be the best time in a long while to satisfy that craving. The BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board (BIVA Board) and staff at BetterInvesting invite you to “Run with the Bulls and the Bears” during their 57th annual convention.
BINC 2008 will take place just northwest of the windy city of Chicago, in Schaumburg, Illinois, on June 19-22, 2008, at the beautiful Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center. You might note that our location is an ideal spot for either Bull or Bear watching, depending on the season! We are lining up some of the best teachers in the country to help guide you through whatever kind of “Run” the market provides.
This premier three and a half day event will be filled with opportunities to learn. You’ll be able to choose from more than 100 classes (which includes 40 new classes) at all levels of investing sophistication, from beginner to advanced, taught by such notable instructors as Mark Robertson, Cy Lynch, Avi Horwitz, Ann Cuneaz and Ron Bruyn and many others you are familiar with. You will be able to listen to corporate presentations, ask questions of investor relations experts, have hands-on experience with BetterInvesting software, get software questions answered by experts and learn about what’s new at the national level.
One of the most exciting things going on during the convention is our Saturday, June 21st Investors EXPO. It’s open to anyone who wants to come to the convention center. We are actively encouraging those of you who live in the area but can’t schedule the entire convention to visit us on Saturday. There will be lots of door prizes, contests, learning opportunities, educational and organizational materials to take back to your clubs or to help you build a personal portfolio. You will also have the chance to visit and spend quality time with IR folks representing our corporate sponsors. Why not put together a group from your club or gather a few friends who want to learn about investing and visit us on Saturday? Turn the day into a field trip! It’s FREE and a great way to learn more about investing.
And for those of you attending BINC 2008, we haven’t neglected to make sure you have some FUN! Your registration includes many meals as well as a “Slice of Chicago” welcome reception filled with surprises, a Saturday dinner and party that will have you dancing the night away and lots of time to informally interact with all of our volunteers.
If you attended BINC 2007, we had one great time! Our goal for BINC 2008 is to be even better. Come meet new friends, renew old friendships, learn, socialize, and be inspired.
