Submit Your BetterInvesting California Club’s Portfolio by October 22 for possible review by Scott Horsburgh
Round 3: A California Club Portfolio Repair Shop – Sunday, November 14, 4:00 – 5:15 pm, PST, $10
It is our pleasure to announce that Scott Horsburgh, co-author of BetterInvesting Magazine’s “Repair Shop” column, will be the speaker at our California Chapters event on Sunday, November 14, at 4 pm PST.
Scott will be providing a live review of a California BetterInvesting club’s portfolio that he has chosen from the club portfolios submitted. Watch to understand more about how the Repair Shop guys evaluate a portfolio and suggest improvements. This is a process you can apply to your own club’s portfolio. Also, Scott will be answering questions from our audience, which is a special opportunity for our attendees.
You will receive a confirmation of your registration from Eventbrite. Then watch for a separate email from GoToWebinar confirming your registration for the actual event plus a link to join the webinar on the specified date and time.
Scott Horsburgh has been a professional investment manager for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Provident (formerly Seger-Elvekrog Inc.) in 1992, he spent six years managing pension funds and charitable trusts for National Bank of Detroit, one of the nation’s largest banks. Scott was named President of Provident in 2004. He is a contributor to BetterInvesting magazine and speaker at investor conferences, and has been quoted by numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, Barrons, and BusinessWeek. Scott is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), as is the entire senior investment staff of Provident.
Cancellation requests must be received no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the event.
We look forward to seeing you at our 3-part fall event!
