The Portland Chapter is growing geographically!However, the number of volunteers is shrinking! We have fun doing what we do and enjoy each other’s company at our meetings. Our board meetings are held online normally on first Wednesdays each month. We provide volunteer mentoring and training at our board meetings, and eligible volunteers receive generous benefits. *

We need a few new volunteers to help our current board members with Club Support Visits, New Club mentoring, and other educational events if they are to continue. Whether you have a few hours now and then or can make a short commitment, you can be of enormous help. Please contact us to learn more. Be assured that you will not be alone at any; if you participate in any of our events, you will be partnering with a current Chapter Director. We look forward to your support.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Writers/contributors/editors. Help with creating content for our newsletters, emails, or Facebook posts
- Assistant Secretary.
- Assistant Treasurer.
- Website maintenance assistant. Help with posting local BI events, newsletters, articles, and finding content that our chapter members can use now
- Instructor and/or instructor assistants
