Model Investment Club
Learning Through Real World Experience
Since its founding, BetterInvesting has used model stock investing clubs to demonstrate our common-sense investing principles and sound club management in a live, real-world setting. These clubs provide hands-on learning opportunities for investment clubs, individual members, and prospective members.
A “Learning Lab” for Investors
As part of BetterInvesting’s educational programs, model clubs hold formal, publicly accessible online meetings that allow guests to observe an actual stock investment club in action.
The primary role of a model stock investing club is to serve as a learning lab, where attendees can:
• Study BetterInvesting’s principles of fundamental stock investing
• Learn how to use the Stock Selection Guide (SSG)
• Understand effective club operations and management
This experience helps both members and guests confidently apply these principles to their own investment clubs and personal portfolios.
Open to Guests — Free to Attend
Anyone interested in learning how to manage a successful stock portfolio or stock investment club is welcome to attend any meeting at no cost.
Achieving Critical Mass,
The Pacific Northwest Chapter’s Model Stock Investment Club (MSIC)
Achieving Critical Mass (ACM) was founded in 1996 in the Model Club tradition. Over the years, many chapter board members have served as long-term Partners, helping foster a supportive environment where members and visitors learn and practice long-term stock investing together.
Download the ACM Welcome Guide for additional information about ACM and the Model Stock Investment Club program.
Meetings are held online from 6:30–8:30 pm (Pacific Time) on the fourth Monday of each month, except in December. If a holiday falls on the scheduled date, the meeting may shift slightly.
To join us online, visit the PNW Chapter Local Events Page for current meeting details and registration link.
