Why does my Stock Selection Guide (SSG) say 'Invalid'?

There are 2 reasons the Stock Selection Guide (SSG) will report INVALID.

  1. The SSG is not complete. Add judgments to complete.
  2. The current price is outside the range set by the forecast high price and forecast low price on the SSG. Review the judgments on the SSG, and consider revising. The current price higher than the projected high price probably is an indication that the current P/E is higher than the projected high P/E. If the projected high P/E seems reasonable and supportable, then one can probably conclude the stock price has gotten overly inflated. Stock prices don't always 'make sense' in the short term, but tend to return to reasonable levels in the long-term.
