How do we handle Canadian companies and Canadian Currency?

The BetterInvesting's Stock Data includes over 2600 companies trading on the Toronto and Toronto Venture exchanges. Most (but not all) of these companies report financial data in Canadian dollars. Where Canadian dollars are used in reporting, a 'C$' will appear next to the company name. Due to varying reporting periods for exchange rates, no attempt is made to convert Canadian dollars to US dollars. Also, to remove the effect of exchange rate fluctuations on the averages, Canadian companies are not included in peer and industry group averages.
