Kansas City Chapter Annual Meeting with Speaker Craig Braemer

Craig is a noted BetterInvesting speaker and is currently Vice President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of BI.

Craig’s topic is Trim or Sell? Which is Better for Your Portfolio?

• If it is time to sell – should you sell it all or just trim?
• Trimming might help long term returns.
• Economic moats – What are they?
• Guidelines to trim a holding.

Folllowing Craig's presentation, is a short meeting where you can find out what your Kansas City Area Chapter has accomplished this past year to support you in becoming a better investor. The board meets this summer to formulate plans for the upcoming fiscal year which will begin on October 1, 2026.

We invite you to join us. All members of the Kansas City Area Chapter and interested visitors are welcome to attend the annual meeting of the chapter. Please share with us what you would like to see the chapter do for you. Tell us what you need and how we can help you and/or your club to become better investors. What type of educational presentations would you like to have at your club support visits?

The election of directors for the Kansas City Area Chapter is an important part of the Annual Meeting. After we’ve had a chance to discuss our plans for next year, elect the board members who will be part of the team that will make these plans a reality.

One-half of our board of directors will be finishing their 3-year term in office and, with your vote, have agreed to serve again for another three-year term.  The role of this board is to determine the activities and programs that are offered to you, our members. That's why your ideas on programs are so important. If you can't make this meeting, we urge you to contact us about what types of training and events you would like to see us offer. We are always looking for members from the chapter to join our team of volunteers. Being a BetterInvesting volunteer opens up a whole new world of additional investing training along with other development opportunities.  If you're still working, this looks really great on your resume! Part of our meeting will go over the opportunities and benefits that are available to you as a volunteer member of our board. You will have an opportunity to become involved with the chapter by volunteering to help the chapter directors.
