Model Investment Club
The Mid-Michigan Chapter has six model investment clubs that meet on a regular basis. Due to the pandemic restrictions, some of these clubs meet online only. All members of Model Clubs are BetterInvesting members and the clubs follow BetterInvesting principles. The meetings are open to the public to model the procedures which investment clubs should follow. BI Baker Model Club
This Grand Blanc club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm to provide education and invest in growth stocks using BetterInvesting principles. This club usually meets in person at Grand Blanc/McFarlen Library, but may meet online only due to the pandemic. This is a fully-functioning investment club which models the best practices of a typical BetterInvesting club. The BI Brighton Model Club is a joint project of the Mid-Michigan and Southeastern Michigan Chapters. The club meets at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of most months in Brighton. Currently, this club meets online only due to pandemic restrictions. This club offers visitors the opportunity to see an investment club in action. This club has been in existence for many years and recently became a model club. It is a fully functioning investment club that models best practices of a typical BetterInvesting club and adheres to the BetterInvesting philosophy. The Mid-Michigan Model club meets at 6:00 pm on the third Monday of every month at the Bridgeport Public Library in Saginaw. The club is currently meeting online only. This club meets in Zeeland at 7:00 pm on the last Monday of every month (except in May and November). It does not meet in July and December.
