Monthly meetings of the Lone Star Online Investment Club are held on the second Tuesday of the month. Visitors from all over are always welcome to join us online. The Club serves as a surrogate model club for BetterInvesting members who live in Alaska and Oklahoma.
The Lone Star Online Investment Club is a model club sponsored by the North Texas Chapter of BetterInvesting. The club is an investing partnership that makes actual investments using the principles established and proven by BetterInvesting for over 70 years.
As a model club, our goal is to help you learn to invest in stocks and to demonstrate how an investment club works. Each month an educational topic is presented by one of the club members. The topic of this month's education segmant is "myICLUB's Portfolio Offense and Defense Reports" presented by Calvin White, the Lone Star Online Investment Club Secretary. The Porfolio Offense Report helps identify stocks that are overvalued or offer low projected returns. The Portfolio Defense Report helps identify companies with deteriorating fundamentals. Both reports use data drawn from each Stockwatcher's BetterInvesting SSGPlus stock study,
Anyone interested in learning more about investing is welcome to register and attend a meeting. Residents of Texas who are BetterInvesting members can join the club after visiting a few times.
