Christy Powell - Christi, a BetterInvesting member since 2000, currently serves as a Director with theOklahoma Chapter where she has held several offices. In 2020, she received the Dick Dwyer Service Award for Chapter Education. She served on the BIVA Board, helping to develop the Retirement Track for BINC. She has taught at BINC since 2008, as well as BI Chapter and Region events around the country. After investing personally for thirty years, Christi became a CERTIFIED FINANCIALPLANNER™ in 2007. She owns Falcon Financial of Oklahoma, LLC a subsidiary of Perissos Private Wealth Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisory firm specializing in retirement and estate planning. She serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Central Oklahoma.Christi is an alumna of the University of Oklahoma, with a bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. She and her husband, Steve, enjoy traveling, reading and photography. They have 5 grandchildren and live in Edmond, OK.
