The St. Louis Chapter provides support to BetterInvesting clubs in a variety of ways. The following subject areas contain valuable information to support the effectiveness, efficiency and profitability of your investment club. Classes to Go
To better accommodate our membership and to broaden club education opportunities, the St. Louis Chapter is offering a program called “Classes To Go”. The educational benefit of having a majority of your club members hear the same message at the same time is priceless. Your club sets the time, provides the space and selects a topic from our available choices. These classes may also be arranged for any small group. Would you like a guest speaker at an upcoming meeting? Could your club benefit from a question-and-answer session with someone who's "been there"? Could your club use some help with this or any of the following topics?
- Club accounting and tax issues
- Partner withdrawals – Why transferring appreciated stock instead of cash is a win-win for everyone.
- Assistance with SSG tools (CoreSSG and SSGPlus)
- Making use of BetterInvesting membership benefits
Club visits from experienced investors on our Board of Directors are one of the most amazing services the St. Louis Chapter offers to its clubs. These are the terrific people who teach our classes and make club visits free of charge! Every dues-paying club is eligible for 30-60 minute presentations by one of our Chapter volunteers at no cost to your club.
The chapter has a club visit coordinator who will find the right person at the right time for the right subject matter. That volunteer will then contact you for the date, time and directions to your meeting, and particulars about the topics you wish to discuss.

- What topic(s) you would like the volunteer to discuss at your meeting.
- Where and when your meeting is held.
- How to contact you for further information.
Our directors really enjoy making these club visits. And you will enjoy having them visit your club. Give it a try!
For a club located greater than 50 miles from the nearest available volunteer, we may ask for mileage reimbursement. Alternatively, perhaps we can set up a club visit by phone or an online meeting.
Your Club's Contact FAQ
BetterInvesting maintains a list of contacts for each participating investment club. Your club contact is the only person in your club who receives special mailings from the BetterInvesting staff. These mailings include items such as special event invitations, stock surveys, portfolio contests, and club membership renewal notices. It is important that the club contact identified for your club be kept up to date and that they share these special mailings with other members of your club.

Club Anniversary Certificate Program
The St. Louis Chapter recognizes clubs celebrating their incremental five year anniversaries. We believe reaching such a milestone is an achievement deserving recognition and congratulations from BetterInvesting. Home Office will be providing the St. Louis Chapter a certificate for each investment club reaching this milestone.
A chapter representative will reach out to the club contact of each investment club celebrating this special anniversary to make arrangements for the certificate presentation. Please be sure to let us know of any change in contact information with regard to your club contact by sending an email to contact@stlouis.betterinvesting.net
