My stock analysis tool says 'ticker not found.' What happened?
Typically, this happens because the company's equity is not traded on an exchange that our service redistributes. For subscribers to the BetterInvesting Core membership or Plus membership, the stocks covered include all active equities trading on the NYSE,AMEX, NASDAQ, ARCA (NYSE Archipelago), Toronto and Toronto Venture exchanges.
In rare cases, companies with multiple issues or companies that trade on multiple exchanges may be listed under a different ticker symbol. The naming convention for ticker symbols is not standardized and the data provider or BetterInvesting must adapt as well as possible.
