Please join the Houston Chapter for our Annual Meeting where we will elect directors and do a Let's Talk Stocks program.
BI Houston Chapter Director Matt Spielman and valued member George Macke will present two companies of interest to them. (Specific companies will be announced closer to the meeting date.)
These guys are two of the chapter's best stock pickers so it should be an interesting evening.
Matt Spielman is a Director of the Houston Chapter of BetterInvesting and a member of the Houston Model Club. He is a lifetime member of BetterInvesting and has been an avid investor in individual stocks for 21 years. Matt retired in 2020 after a 27-year career in the automotive industry in engineering and information technology, capping his career with a 2-year assignment in Ireland. He looks forward to exploring his new home state of Texas and the rest of the US.
George Macke began investing using the Low-Cost Plan offered through BetterInvesting. He graduated to a self-managed account at TD Waterhouse, which later became Schwab. After becoming a full-time investor, he started helping family members and currently manages or helps guide investments for himself, six family members, and a private foundation.
As a lifetime member of BetterInvesting, he has submitted First Cut studies for WAL, MED, UNM, FNF, DOW, BKE, and HZO.
