Analysis of the BI Top 100 (and 2nd 100)
Curious how the BI community is following BI investment principles? Would you be surprised to find that many IC Portfolio Reviews, we find that the IC's stated goal can't be achieved because of the portfolio mix?
The spring BI magazine is a wealth of information telling you what BI members across the country are doing. You could spend hours and hours investigating, or, you could sit back and watch Roger reveal all.
On May 21, the Maryland Chapter will have a “virtual” presentation of an analysis of the Top 100 (and second 100) that were published in the April 2022 BI magazine. This will be the seventh year that an analysis like this has been done by the Chapter. The analysis will cover the following areas:
- Evaluate sales and EPS growth rates for companies owned by investment clubs and compare to the published BI growth rates (based on company size).
- Compare how well club holdings follow the BI principles of investing in growth and diversifying by company size
- View sector distribution by company size and % Debt to Capital
- Explore potential 5-year future growth expectations
- Compare to prior years analyses
Attendees to this Webinar will watch the presentation, but not be able to directly ask questions. Attendees are muted, but can enter questions in the Chat section, where other Chapter volunteers will be monitoring. If we can answer, we will reply in the comment area. Check that area for an answer. Some questions may be held for the break time for the presenter to answer.
