If you are looking for some insights on stocks with growth potential, Let's Talk Stocks is for you as this popular program returns again. A panel of North Texas Chapter Volunteers will present 15 stocks which, in their opinion, have long-term growth trends. The BI Stock Selection Guide (SSG) for each company will be viewed looking at each company's historical growth, fundamentals, and P/E history. Following their presentations, you get to apply YOUR judgment to ascertain if a stock that interests you is fit for your portfolio or your club's portfolio at its current valuation.
While there is no guarantee of success, you should come away with some ideas for your further research. This annual education presentation has been effective in suggesting stocks ideas for club and individual portfolios. In a review of last year's presentation, there are 8 stocks which gained and 7 which lost ground in the time between September 20, 2024 and August 1, 2025. On a per share price basis, the net gain in the portfolio is 11.1%. When investing an equal value of money in each stock, the portfolio gain is 24.8%.
