VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT:
Meet Volunteer Matt Alden -

Matt joined BetterInvesting in 2015 when his family started their online StockQuest Investment Club. The club was small and all members of the family held officer positions, studied portfolio management, and attended BINC. He functioned as Vice President of Education and Presiding Partner during the 9-year duration of the club. He is now a member of the Cincinnati Model Investment Club and serves as IT support by running the GoToMeeting software and trouble-shooting any online problems. Marty Eckerle is mentoring him, and the goal is to have him manage the chapter’s GoToMeeting software.
Matt majored in Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati. In 2007, he started his career at Fifth Third Processing Solutions (FTPS) in the bank’s Credit Card processing division. During his fifteen years with this group, they were divested, sold, grew, merged, changed their name many times and acquired by one of the world’s largest international credit processors. During his tenure he was in Tech Support, a Team Lead, managed two Tier 3 support teams located in separate contact centers, and a product manager. Since 2024 he has continued to work in the payments industry with CSG International as a Product Manager.
When he is not working or investing, he enjoys driving his 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5N EV, or collecting and playing competitively at Magic: The Gathering tournaments.

Our volunteers believe in sharing their BetterInvesting knowledge with all investors. The OKI Tri-State Chapter has many dedicated members who have been honored for their outstanding services to their chapter and to the national BetterInvesting organization.

We are proud to showcase our directors and volunteers.
