Volunteer Spotlight:
Meet Assistant Director Fred Conway:
Fred has been a BetterInvesting LIFE member for many years prior to the "dotcom" era and has served as the Treasurer of his investment club for over 25 years. He is also a LIFE member of AAII. He retired from the Air Force after thirty years working as a Computer Programmer, Mathematician and Operations Research Analyst at Wright Patterson where he learned the inner financial workings of large defense contractors. Post retirement, he used this knowledge for four years as a Financial Manager for a major defense contractor and then moved into teaching as an adjunct instructor at several Dayton colleges and universities. He is active with both church activities and running a small investment business. Fred and his wife Anita, a retired public-school teacher, live in the Dayton suburb of Trotwood.
Our volunteers believe in sharing their BetterInvesting knowledge with all investors. The OKI Tri-State Chapter has many dedicated members who have been honored for their outstanding services to their chapter and to the national BetterInvesting organization.
We are proud to showcase our directors and volunteers.
