October 2023 Updates

BetterInvesting is pleased to announce several updates in the Online Stock Tools, including the CoreSSG™ and SSGPlus™ Stock Selection Guide® tools. 

These feature updates include:

  • SSGPlus - Ten Years of Price Earnings History: We have added an option to toggle between five and ten years of data on the Price Earnings History section of the Valuation and Return page. We've also added a preference setting to set your default view to five years or ten years of price/earnings history data.  View the two-minute how-to video and see the screenshot below.
  • Saving SSG Study Directly to a Portfolio:  When you save or copy a study in CoreSSG or SSGPlus, you'll find a new functionality to save your study directly into a portfolio. By default, the dropdown option is set to not save to a portfolio, but you can use the dropdown to select to save to any of your existing portfolios. (See screenshot below.)
  • Removing 'Invalid' Label: Previously, 'Invalid' text would display on the SSG 'zoning' if the current price was higher than the projected high price or lower than the projected low price. Now, the 'Buy' indicator is displayed if the current price is lower than the projected low price. The 'Sell' indicator is displayed if the current price is higher than the projected high price. (See screenshot below.)
